Yes. The government has laid down a Code of Conduct, which every estate agent and estate agency firm must follow.  Failure to do so can lead to disciplinary action and, possibly, a fine.  You can obtain a copy from the EAAB website (www.eaab.org.za) under Disciplinaries.
