EAA - China   Article Date :12 Jul 2006 The Estate Agents Authority The EAA is the regulatory body with which all estate agents and agencies must register. A licensing system for the estate agency trade came into effect 1 January 1999. An individual or a company carrying on estate agency work in Hong Kong must hold a valid licence. It is an offence to practise estate agency work without a licence. All licensed practitioners must observe and comply with the laws and regulations relating to estate agency and follow the Practice Directions and practice circulars issued by the EAA from time to time.
